Plaintiff, John W. Higgins (hereinafter referred to as Higgins), appeals from an order of the circuit court of Cook County entered on May 25,1978, which granted a motion of defendant, Columbia Tool Steel Company (hereinafter referred to as the Company), to vacate an order previously entered by the court on March 7,1978. In its order of May 25, 1978, the court also “affirmed” an arbitrator’s award which the court construed as determining that plaintiff was ineligible for pension benefits under the Company’s pension agreement.
