— Before the court is the defendant’s motion for a protective order. The defendant is Montrose General Hospital; and the plaintiffs are Judith Rosser and Lloyd Rosser. The parties have *354briefed their respective positions, and oral argument was heard on May 27, 1998.

The defendant seeks a protective order from providing certain documents requested by the plaintiffs’ supplemental request for production of documents. Plaintiffs’ supplemental request included, inter alia, the following paragraphs:
