This suit was instituted by A. C. Traweek in the district court of Floyd county, Tex., against the Pecos & Northern Texas Railway Company and the Panhandle & Santa Fé Railway Company, to recover the sum of ?3,000 as damages for the alleged conversion by defendants of a carload of oil well easing.

The plaintiff alleged that on or about the 18th day of May, 1925, he was the owner and in possession of 3,000 feet of oil well casing, and that on or about that date the Panhandle & Santa Fé Railway Company, by some means unknown to him, and without any right so to do, obtained possession of said oil…
