The application was made in July, 1936, under § 1662 of the General Statutes as amended by § 646c of the Cumulative Supplement of 1935; was addressed to the board of zoning appeals, and, the appeal to the Superior Court alleged, was dismissed by that board on the ground that it did not have jurisdiction to grant such an application. Upon the trial of the appeal the Superior Court held that the defendant board was the proper authority to act upon the application and entered judgment accordingly.
