The defendant appeals from the denial of his motion to vacate sentence or for new trial, challenging the revocation of his probation and the propriety of his sentence and, alternatively, seeking to set aside his guilty plea. We review these *741claims for a substantial risk of a miscarriage of justice.1 See Commonwealth v. Randolph, 438 Mass. 290, 294-295 (2002). Finding none, we affirm.
