OPINION
This case involves a mother, who on behalf of her minor child, sought protection against father, custodial parent,1 for alleged physical abuse. The Dilkon Family Court issued a five-year Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) against the father and indicated that the protection order would be for five years or less if the foreign custody order was modified sooner.
