Plaintiff seeks to recover from the defendant the sum of $4,525, which sum it is contended defendant is obligated to pay by reason of its obligation on a surety bond executed by it. The controlling facts may be set forth as follows: The plaintiff, for some years prior to November 5, 1937, was engaged in the management, operation and liquidation of businesses involved in financial difficulties.
