On February 8, 2008, Defendant was arrested by the Burrillville Police Department and charged with a number of counts including felony domestic assault, simple assault, and sexual assault. The Defendant was accused of forcibly holding and abusing his adult roommate, who was developmentally delayed, over a two-month period.
