On July 7, 2015, a jury found in favor of Valarie LaMonaca on her claims of interference-and retaliation under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (“FMLA”)-.against her former employer, Tread Corporation (“Tread”). The case is now before the court on Tread’s motion for judgment as a matter of law or, in the alternative, a-new trial; LaMonaca’s motion for liquidated damages; and LaMo-naca’s motion for attorneys’ fees and liti*510gation costs.
