In 2008, a jury convicted the defendant of having a firearm without a license in his control in a motor vehicle, G. L. c. 269, § 10 (a)1; possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, G. L. c. 269, § 10 (h) (1); and possession of marijuana, G. L. c. 94C, § 34.
