This is an action in conversion. On March 21, 1924, one B. and his wife gave to the plaintiff a chattel mortgage on all crops which were to be grown, planted, cultivated, etc., during 1924 on certain real estate described therein, which mortgage was filed March 21, 1924. On December 1,1923, the said B. and wife had given to defendant bank a chattel mortgage on all of the same crops, which mortgage was filed immediately.
