The Denver Telephone Company, a domestic corporation, is the remote asignee of a right or privilege which the city council of the city of Denver, by resolution in 1884, granted to eight of its citizens to occupy its public streets and alleys for the purpose of constructing and operating a telegraph and telephone system.
