The defendant was tried by a jury, in the District Court of Socorro County, for the crime of murder, adjudged to be guilty of murder in the first degree, and by the court duly sentenced to death. From the judgment an appeal was prosecuted to this court, a transcript of record filed as required by law, but no brief was filed on behalf of appellant.
