This appeal is taken from a judgment of conviction of the crime of unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor. The principal assignments of error are, (1) the court erred in admitting evidence of a certain statement made by the sheriff to the appellant and the latter’s reply; (2) the court erred in sustaining respond ent’s objection to certain questions asked the sheriff on cross-examination relating to the statement which he had made to the appellant; (3) the court erred in giving two instructions.
