This is a proceeding in equity to enforce an alleged mechanics’ lien for labor and materials furnished upon a “Tower Building” owned by the appellant and situate in the City of Baltimore.. The appellant is- a corporation, duly incorporated, under the laws of the State, and is engaged in casualty insurance and other business connected therewith, in Baltimore City.
The appellee is a resident of the State of Kew York, and conducts the business of painting structural steel work, under the name of Steves J. Lacios, trading as Steves Lacios and Company and was a sub-contractor of Kellogg and Park,…
