The First United Church, Inc., d/b/a Sanctified Mount Zion Church of Nigeria in the United States (“church”), along with several of its native Nigerian members, Esenyie, Emah, Ibanga, and Udo, appeal the entry of default judgment in the sum of $500,000 against them jointly and severally in favor of each of the plaintiffs/appellees, plus $10,800 in special damages to plaintiff/appellee George.
