hThe plaintiff, Kevin Barber (Barber), appeals the trial court’s judgment denying *266his Motion for Reconsideration of Dismissal for Abandonment. For the following reasons, we affirm the decision of the trial court.

PROCEDURAL HISTORY

On July 23, 2010, Barber was the passenger in a vehicle which was involved in a high-speed chase.
