This is an appeal from an order granting a motion to modify in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship. We reverse and remand.

BACKGROUND

Appellant Margie Trigo and appellee Robert Edwards were divorced on June 26, 2001. Margie was appointed sole managing conservator of the couples’ minor son, and Robert was appointed possessory conservator. At the time, Margie, Robert, and their son all lived in LaSalle County, Texas. On October 14, 2003, Robert filed a motion to modify that did not seek specific relief.
