In this criminal case, defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for misdemeanor driving while suspended, ORS 811.182. He assigns error to the denial of his motion to suppress and the denial of his motion for judgment of acquittal on the question of venue. Defendant argues that the evidence of his suspended license was discovered only after he was unlawfully stopped.
