This is an action of assumpsit to recover the sum of $1500 as a death benefit or. donation alleged to have accrued to plaintiff’s intestate as the widow of one Eduardo Pinheiro, who was at the time of his death a member in good standing of defendant, an incorporated mutual benefit society.
