OPINION OF

THE COURT.

The defendant having been indicted at the present term for stealing bank notes, out of a letter received in the post office at Akron, pleaded not guilty, and went to trial. The indictment contained twelve counts which will be more particularly noticed hereafter. Francis Dod, witness, states John Dod wrote a letter at request to Elizabeth Dod, directed to Akron, in which were enclosed two ten dollar bills;one on the State Bank of Indiana, and other on the Cleveland Bank.
