This was a petition to the county court of Cook county for a judgment confirming a special assessment levied under an ordinance of the city of Chicago, to defray the cost of curbing, grading, and paving with vitrified brick, a system of streets on the north-westerly side of the city of Chicago, known as the “Spaulding avenue system.” The appellees severally filed numerous “legal objections” to the confirmation of the assessment.
