INTRODUCTION

The instant case, hereinafter referred to as Rivers I, is a putative “across-the-board” class action race discrimination lawsuit brought by four Walt Disney World Company (“Disney World”) employees against the Walt Disney Company (“Disney”). Plaintiffs assert in their complaint that Defendant has a pattern and practice of failing to promote African-American employees to supervisorial positions within certain Disney departments.
