The Greenleaf Mining Company purchased a lot of. mining machinery of the Blake Manufacturing Company, for the price of which the former company gave its promissory note, which was executed on its behalf by William Downing as president and general manager.
The property was shipped to Denver in the care of said Downing, for the Greenleaf Company, the consignee, and delivered to the Denver Transit and Warehouse Company, who held it for delivery, upon .payment of freight and warehouse charges.
