Martin J. Berry filed an affidavit in attachment on February 29, 1936, alleging that defendant, Walter Ackerman, was indebted to him on a certain promissory note dated April 12, 1929, of which he was the holder, for the sum of $3,500, with accrued interest; that Ackerman was not a resident of Illinois, but resided at 1370 Albany street, St. Paul, Minnesota; and that he had within two years last past fraudulently concealed or disposed of his property so as to hinder and delay his creditors.
