I,This is the second appeal in this expropriation case. The plaintiff — the expropriating authority — is the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College (the “Board”). The defendant — the property owner — is 1732 Canal Street, L.L.C. (“1732 Canal”). In the first appeal, the Board challenged the jury’s award of $9,566,640.00 to 1732 Canal as the total compensation due for the expropriated property; this court affirmed.
