The plaintiff obtained a verdict against the defendants for the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars, damages lor injury to his body and limbs, caused by the falling of the central tower of the cathedral of St. Louis, in New Orloans, on the 19th of January, 1850. On this verdict, judgment was rendered. An application for a new trial, was refused by the judge.
