In this case appellant filed a bill of complaint, the purpose of which was to enjoin the collection of city taxes assessed by the City of Orlando, the contention being that the property involved was exempt from taxation under the provisions of Section 16, Article XVI of the State'Constitution and under the provisions of Section 697 R. G. S., 897 C. G. L., Section 16 of Article XVI of the Constitutions provides as follows:
“The property of all corporations, except the property of a corporation which shall construct a ship or barge canal across the peninsula of Florida, if the Legislature should…
