The facts in the case are simple, and, except in minor particulars, are not in dispute.

The appellee was, when injured, sixteen years old. His home was in a little village named Hastings, a mile or so south of the village of Lemont, and on the Sunday mornirg in question he had come into Lemont to attend church.
