The defendant, Jonathan Michael Te-sten, was originally charged by grand jury indictment with three counts of aggravated rape. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled guilty to three counts of sexual battery. He was sentenced to serve 10 years at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence on all three counts, with the sentences to be served concurrently.
