The Denison Cotton Mill Company brought an action of trover against the Schermerhorn Bros. Company in the circuit court of .Cook county, alleging that the plaintiff had casually lost, and that the defendant had found, 175,000 pounds of cotton duck, 10,000 pounds of cotton sheeting and 12,000 pounds of cotton bagging. To this declaration defendant filed the general issue.
