This class action suit was filed by a group of present and former commissioned officers of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (DWF), claiming their rights to equal protection under the United States and Louisiana constitutions were violated when they were denied supplemental pay and later, were denied grade level and salary increases by the defendants, simply because they were not members of the enforcement division of DWF.
