The appellant, Billy D. Tallant, was found guilty by a jury of negligent homicide, a class D felony, and driving while intoxicated, first offense. For the negligent homicide conviction, appellant was sentenced to a term of five years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. For DWI, appellant’s driver’s license was suspended for a period of 120 days, and he was ordered to serve a year in the county jail.
