The bill in this cause was filed to set aside various sales and conveyances of lands claimed by the complainant, and among other things, to set aside a sale made under a decree of the vice chancellor of the first circuit, in a suit for the foreclosure of a mortgage.

The Chancellor.

This case comes before the court upon general demurrers to the complainant’s bill. The bill contains a great variety of charges and allegations, some of which would probably have entitled the complainant to some relief if he had applied while he had any interest in the property in dispute. He has no pretence of claim at this time to the West Neck property, which he had previously mortgaged. It appears by his own showing, that in October, 1830, he was discharged under the insolvent act, and made an assignment of all his property to Joseph C. Albertson, for the benefit of his…
