This is an original application to this court for a writ of mandamus to compel the commissioner of public lands and buildings to execute to the relator a certificate of purchase for 80 acres of school land in Jefferson county. The petition for the writ shows that, under the provisions of section 19, art. I, ch. 80, Comp. St. 1881, in force at the time the lease was executed, she is entitled as lessee to exercise her option to purchase, and this is not disputed by the respondent.
