On April 28, 1942, the district attorney laid before the grand jury a bill of indictment against the two defendants above named, *28charging that on March 28, 1942, defendants unlawfully, wilfully, and maliciously secreted, assigned, conveyed, sold, removed, and otherwise disposed of certain personal property in their possession with intent to prevent said property from being liable for the payment of the debts of defendants and of other persons named in said indictment.
