MEMORANDUM DECISION REGARDING MOTION FOR RELIEF FROM STAY

The Bank of New York Mellon (the “Bank”) moved for relief from the Bankruptcy Code’s automatic stay so that it may evict Charlotte Betchan from her home.1 The Bank argues that Ms. Bet-chan no longer has a legal or equitable interest in the property because the Bank obtained a trustee’s deed as a result of a foreclosure sale.
