Defendant, Charles Griffin, was convicted of three counts of first degree murder based on an accountability theory (720 ILCS 5/9— 1(a)(3), 5 — 2 (West 2004)) for the August 2001 shooting deaths of Khristian Bracy, Terrell Hall, and Nadia James. Griffin was sentenced to natural life imprisonment on each count, with all counts running concurrently.
