The appellant, Josephine Steele, was indicted at the June special term, 1935, of the Pike circuit court, charging her with the willful murder of her ex-husband, John D. Steele.
ITpon trial, she was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to two years ’ confinement in the penitentiary.
She appeals, relying upon the following grounds for a reversal of the judgment: (1) The refusal of the court, at the conclusion of all the evidence, to sustain her motion to peremptorily instruct the jury to find her- not guilty; and (2) that the verdict was the result…
