Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Coutant, J.), entered September 10, 1996 in Broome County, which, inter alia, granted defendant Laurette Cams’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint against her.

Plaintiff commenced this action on behalf of her son, Anthony, for personal injuries he sustained as a result of being bitten in the face by an Old English Sheepdog named Max, which was owned by defendant Laurette Carns (hereinafter defendant).
