The Bank of Philadelphia, Mississippi, brought suit against the Bailway Express Agency, for the recovery of two hundred thirty-five dollars and one cent paid on a forged check payable to W. E. Therrell, and deposited in another bank to the credit of the Bailwlay Express Agency, presented to the Bank of Philadelphia, and paid by it on the belief that the signature was that of one of its customers.
