This letter opinion is written to supplement my ruling striking the evidence of plaintiff Ceres Associates Sales and Marketing, Incorporated (“Ceres”) at the conclusion of Ceres’ case-in-chief in the July 22,2003, trial of the captioned case. I granted the defendant Veridian’s motion to strike based on the argument that Ceres’ evidence demonstrated that a partnership, Iris Perry & Associates, Inc. (“IPA”), not Ceres, was the party to the contract sued upon and accordingly Ceres did not have standing to prosecute this contract action. Veridian, however, had moved to…
