This is a bill in equity for partition of real estate belonging to the plaintiff, Cornelia E. Green, and the defendant, Samuel G. Arnold, as tenants in common. The bill alleges that the common estate consists of sixteen parcels, which are respectively numbered and described in the bill. The bill further alleges that the undivided half of Samuel G. Arnold in fourteen of these parcels is subject to mortgages ; that is to say, his undivided half in the parcel numbered 16 is subject to a mortgage dated April 12, 1867, held by George W.
