This is an original proceeding in mandamus to compel defendants as county commissioners to levy a tax for the purpose of maintaining a high school at Santa Fe, the county seat of Haskell county. On the 5th day of August, 1912, a petition signed by 190 persons, school electors of the county, was presented to the county superintendent and the county board, asking them to make a levy for the maintenance of a county high school at Santa Fe.
