The petitioner, Porter Patterson, seeks a writ of habeas corpus to secure his release from the custody of the sheriff of Shawnee county. Under *440the agreed facts it appears that oh or about November 4, 1911, the petitioner entered a plea of guilty to four counts for the violation of the prohibitory liquor law and was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment and to pay a fine and costs amounting to $752.50.
