The defendant was charged jointly with Jimmie Goff with the crime of murder, in Okmulgee county. A severance was taken; Jimmie Goff was tried, convicted, and sentenced to serve a life term in the penitentiary. The defendant was tried, convicted of manslaughter in the first degree, and his punishment left to the court, who sentenced him to serve 20 years in the penitentiary, and he has appealed.
