BALDOCK, Circuit Judge.
In September 1989, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) discovered a marijuana field in Allen County, Kansas. Upon further investigation, the government discovered that defendant Robert J. Shew-maker, Sr. was the supervisor of a marijuana farming and processing enterprise with fields in six Kansas counties. Defendant pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to plant, cultivate, grow, harvest and possess marijuana with the intent to distribute, 21 U.S.C. §§ 846, 802 & 812.
