I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Earl Haskell (“Haskell”), a police officer, was injured in the line of duty. He was shot while trying to arrest Peter Moses (“Moses”). While the circumstances of Haskell’s case are extremely sympathetic, the court cannot conclude that his injuries were “caused by an accident arising out of the operation, maintenance or use of an uninsured motor vehicle.” Those injuries arose out of Haskell’s…
