The plaintiffs, Vasilios and Patricia Harri-tos (the Harritoses), appeal from a summary judgment entered in the Superior Court on March 13, 1996, in favor of the defendants, Frank J. Iafrate, John A. Celona, Judith DiOrio, Elena Pherigo, Robert Russo, Alexander Longo, .John C. Magnano, and Armand G. DiNapoli, former directors and/or officers of the Central Credit Union (Central), and Nicholas E. and Regina Cambio (the Camb-ios), former friends of the Harritoses.
