The will of Anita North admitted to probate on August 23, 1921, devised to executors in trust the sum of $25,000, the annual income to be paid to Mary North during her life, remainder to be divided in equal shares among four named beneficiaries. On request of Mary North, in October, 1922, Joseph Yoerg was appointed trustee of this- trust. The principal of the trust included a note of $7,500 secured by a mortgage on the Batten farm.
